A Stand up comic’s guide to the orchestra
Christopher Hall is the former principal Clarinet of the Orchestre Métropolitain (Yannick Nézet-Seguin) who found work in the orchestra a little too serious. So now, instead of making his colleagues laugh while sitting in the orchestra, he makes the audience laugh while masquerading as the soloist.
“A Stand up comic’s guide to the orchestra” is a fun and music filled concert that gives the audience an inside look at the inner workings of an Orchestra.
You’ll hear many of the great classics, meet all the instruments of the orchestra, and get answers to such important questions as :
“Do we even really need a conductor !?”
Or the crucial question :
“What is the proper way to unwrap a cough candy in the middle of a concert?”
It’s an ideal concert for a Gala fundraiser, and Christopher has also adapted it into a great Kids concert!
